A NEW VISION FOR UNITED CHURCH WOMEN
As United Church Women we believe
a) as Christian women of faith, we nurture spirituality reaching out with commitment and devotion to all God's people;
b) to promote truth, justice, peace, caring and sharing with respect for all in community and wider world;
c) to love God and others by living generously and giving joyfully; and,
d) to affirm and strengthen ourselves creatively in study and witness through music, laughter and solitude.
TORONTO CONFERENCE UNITED CHURCH WOMEN 40TH ANNIVERSARY AWARD
"Established in recognition of the 40th anniversary of the United Church Women, an annual award to be made to a person pursuing a vocation in ministry in the United Church of Canada, at Emmanuel College, with account being taken of need and preference given to a person from Toronto Conference. The award will be reviewed in 2004 and every 2 years thereafter."
Thank you to all who have contributed and may you continue supporting this exciting venture. As of November 15, 2002 the amount for the award has reached $18,585. Our goal is $25,000 and only interest will be used. Cheques may be made out payable to Emmanuel College and mailed to Dr. Peter Wyatt, Principal of Emmanuel College, 75 Queen's Park Crescent, Toronto, ON M5S 1K7
